Oxford, The Cotswolds, Stratford and Warwick Castle
Our first stop is the City of
Oxford. We will explore one of the
Worlds Greatest Universities with its stunning architecture. The University
is made up of 39 colleges.
The University has also been used for the filming of three Harry Potter Movies
– The Philosophers Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire. Time to see these
sights at your leisure. Free time to stroll around Oxford City or perhaps its beautiful
river ways or Oxford Cathedral.
We travel to the birthplace of William Shakespeare,
Stratford Upon Avon. The
greatest writer in the English language. Free time to see this historical market town.
We have allowed time to stop in a charming Cotswolds village for lunch. Maybe a typical
pub lunch or an English afternoon tea?
On to
Warwick Castle set in sixty acres of beautiful grounds. This medieval castle
dates backs over 1000 years. Free time to visit the castle or wander the extensive grounds.
You may like to explore the Dungeons and Torture Chambers or the restored Mill and Engine
House.
